  • Book Market - This site has tons of tips on how to market and promote your book. Check into this one whether you're self-publishing or traditionally publishing.
  • Two Dots Permissions - has experience in all areas of permissions acquisition and copyright clearance (including public domain and "fair use"): books, music, film, tv, photos, art, and more.
  • Writers Book Mall - Writers Book Mall provides unbiased product info and customer reviews on thousands of books, and provides links to sites where you can make easy, secure purchases.
  • Writer's Net - Writing resources, news, and discussion for authors / writers, editors, publishers and agents.
  • Publishing Central - This site has a little bit of everything! Whatever you're researching, this is a good place to start. They have many articles and links that authors can use.
  • Piers Anthony - In addition to being a great author, Piers keeps a list of publishers and author service providers on his site. He posts any notes or complaints that his loyal readers send to him, and how they were handled. He often posts advice to new authors on his blog. This site can be a great resource for authors.
  • National Novel Writing Month - "A fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing." Thousands of writers compete to see who can write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days.
  • DC Green - Author of funny, action-packed & imaginative kid's books.
  • Wordly - Collected works of Florence Liberfarb (Short stories, poetry, and plays)
  • Eddy Motketsan - A published author who has his own website with forums. Eddy has worked with April in the past.
  • Code Monkey Publishing - A software company that makes useful tools for all those RPG gamers out there.
